# Disclaimer

**Tasky is provided for educational purposes and individual, personal use only.**

By downloading, installing, or using Tasky you acknowledge the following:

1. **Educational project.** Tasky is a hobby and learning project. It is not a commercial product, has no support commitment, and may change or stop being published at any time.
2. **Individual use.** The app is intended to be installed by an individual on their own device to track their own habits. It is not designed, tested, or supported for use by organisations, for tracking other people, or as part of any paid service.
3. **No warranty.** The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as stated in the [MIT License](LICENSE). The author is not liable for lost data, missed reminders, or any other outcome of using it.
4. **Not health, fitness, or medical advice.** Tasky only records the tasks you type in. Nothing in the app is professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional before starting any diet, exercise, or health programme, including any "75-day" style challenge.
5. **Your data stays on your device.** Tasky stores your challenge, tasks, and progress locally on the phone. It has no account, server, analytics, or ads. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes that data. Use **Settings → Backup → Export** to save a copy to a file you control, then **Import** it after reinstalling. The author has no copy of your data and can't restore it for you.
6. **Third-party apps.** The share buttons hand a short text message (for example "Day 12 ✅") to WhatsApp or another app you choose. Tasky is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp, Meta, or any other app it can share to. What happens to a message after it leaves Tasky is governed by that app's own terms and privacy policy.
7. **Not affiliated with any branded challenge.** References to a "75-day challenge" describe a general habit-building idea. Tasky is not affiliated with or endorsed by any person, programme, or trademark associated with a named challenge.
8. **Unofficial builds.** Only APKs attached to the [Releases](../../releases) of this repository are published by the author. Do not install Tasky APKs from other sources.

The MIT License grants broad rights to the software. This disclaimer does not add legal restrictions to that licence; it states how the author intends the app to be used and what you should and should not expect from it.
